“Beginning January 1, 2023, members enrolled in a plan through the state-based exchange, Get Covered NJ, or directly with Horizon (except for Medigap members) will have birthing doula services as an in-network benefit.”

Birth Doula Packages:
**CLIENTS that are located in the New York City area or CLIENTS that reside/deliver more than 30 minutes from DOULA’s residence would need to pay for transportation (Uber/Lyft)**
Rose Package: Labor doula care
- 1- Initial consultation in-person/ Virtual (free)
- 2- prenatal consultations (1-hr each) 4 or 6 weeks before delivery to discuss your birth choices and prepare for the delivery
- Access to pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum resources (studies, videos, and articles)
- Unlimited phone/email contact, and 24/7 on-call support from the time of booking through the postpartum period
- Professional Photography: maternity, birth, or newborn Portfolio
- 1-hr Prenatal or postpartum massage by a licensed massage therapist (price may vary depending on the distance)
- Assistance in your delivery and immediate postpartum support: 30 minutes to 1 hour after delivery (includes help with initial breastfeeding if desired)
- 2- postpartum visits (1-hr each) at home 1 to 2 weeks after delivery
- Referrals to other services in the community if requested (e.g., lactation consultant, postpartum support, etc.)
Total cost: $ 2,315
Orchid Package: Labor doula care
- 1 initial consultation in-person/ virtual (free)
- 1 prenatal consultation (1 hour) 4 or 6 weeks before delivery to discuss your birth choices
- Access to pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum resources (studies, videos, and articles)
- Unlimited phone/email contact, and 24/7 on-call support from the 37th week until the birth of your baby.
- Professional Photography: maternity, birth, or newborn
- Assistance in your delivery and immediate postpartum support: 30 minutes to 1 hour after delivery (includes help with initial breastfeeding if desired)
- 1 postpartum visit at home 1 to 2 weeks after delivery
- Referrals to other services in the community if requested (e.g., lactation consultant, postpartum support, etc.)

Last-minute birth Doula care package
- You are between 38-41 weeks, and you are looking ONLY for labor and birth support
- If your partner, family, or friend is not available to support you, or it is not the support you wanted
- Or if you recently relocated to this area
- Or you have New Jersey FamilyCare/Medicaid
